A smoky, tender meatloaf with a tangy barbecue glaze—comfort food at its best!
Servings: 6-8 | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
For Meatloaf:
2 lbs. ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
1⁄2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or panko)
1⁄2 cup milk
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp salt
1⁄2 tsp black pepper
1⁄2 tsp smoked paprika
1⁄2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp “Fine As Wine” Sweet Orange Serena BBQ Sauce
6 strips of thin sliced Bacon
To Glaze your Meatloaf:

Instructions:
- Preheat & Prep:
o Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
o Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan. - Soak the Breadcrumbs:
o In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes to absorb
moisture. - Mix the Meatloaf:
o In a large bowl, combine ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg,
Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder and
barbecue sauce.
o Gently mix until just combined (don’t overmix or it’ll be tough). - Shape & Bake:
- Form into a loaf shape wrap bacon around your loaf on the baking sheet or after wrapping
bacon place in a loaf pan. - Bake for 35 minutes uncovered.
- Glaze & Finish Baking:
o After 35 minutes, brush the glaze generously over the top of the meatloaf.
o Return to the oven and bake for 20-25 more minutes until the internal temperature
reaches 160°F (71°C). - Rest & Serve:
o Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
o Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, or corn.
